Here’s Why I Haven’t Been Writing on Medium in Four Months

So, the last time I published an article on Medium was in October 2023, last year.

It’s not that my passion for writing was dying or I was losing interest.

Writing is a passion deeply engraved in me. It will never die. I honestly don’t know what I’d be if I stopped writing. Writing is my escape. My joy. My relaxation method and everything in between. So, I apologize for not posting in the last four months.

The only reason I wasn’t blogging is because I was writing my 4th book. It’s titled, HOW TO BECOME A CONSISTENT WRITER: Things Every Writer Needs to Know to Write Continuously.

I published it on the 6th of February 2024. I am thrilled to say it’s available on Amazon as an eBook. (P.S The Paperback version is coming out soon 😃

The main thing that inspired me to write my latest book is to help writers write more.

A few of my friends and many aspiring writers ask me one question repeatedly: “HOW DO I WRITE CONSISTENTLY?”

My response has always been, “UNDERSTAND WHAT KEEPS YOU FROM WRITING AND FIND A WAY TO TURN WRITING INTO A HABIT…”

It turns out that the response isn’t as effective as I thought it would be. So, I took time to understand what keeps writers from writing and found answers.

I realized that one thing that makes it hard for writers to write continuously, build their careers, and thrive is failing to commit. Writer’s block, not finding the right work-life balance, and making common writing mistakes, such as misusing homophones, not understanding consonants, misusing collocations, poor word choice, using filler words, and so much more get in the way.

All this is frustrating. No wonder many writers throw in the towel and end up believing it’s all just a dream…that becoming the celebrated writer you are in your dreams is a scam.

But it isn’t.

My latest book focuses on how and why most people get frustrated on the writer’s journey.

It shows writers the most effective ways to increase productivity, eliminate errors, overcome writer’s block, and ensure you write despite how you feel.

After reading to the end, you will easily identify and eliminate common writing mistakes to keep your work engaging and enjoy your craft more.

You’ll learn the best ways to become a fast writer, manage your time wisely, minimize distractions, train your brain to focus on the task at hand, use rewards to boost motivation, and so much more.

If you follow the advice and take action, you will become the consistent writer you desire to be.

Check it out HERE

P.S. I will now continue writing on Medium and posting more content on writing. I’m already working on my next article and will post it tomorrow morning (-:

Cheers, and Happy Writing!
